Dr Stefanie Green came to Galiano in January 2018 with a presentation on Medical Assistance in Dying. This event was well attended with many questions. We suspect there is more to learn. There are complex and unanswered questions about the MAID process, both as it relates to your day of dying and your friends and families participation, before, during and after. We have assembled a panel of people experienced with MAID who will lead two community events, sponsored by the Galiano Health Care Society and Transitions and Grieving. This one in June is the first, followed by another in September.
