Galiano Concert Society is pleased to present one of Canada’s top string quartets who will perform repertoire from the classical period to the present. The four original members of the Lafayette String Quartet: violinists Ann Elliot-Goldschmid and Sharon Stanis, violist Joanna Hood and cellist Pamela Highbaugh have been playing together since 1986. The Saturday, January 19, 2019 concert begins at 7:30 in the South Hall but come earlier to enjoy a glass of wine. Doors open at 6:45. Tickets may be purchased at the Loose Leaf Tea Papery & post office, at Galiano Island Books or at the door. $25 – adult, $15 – post-secondary student, elementary/secondary students – free with paying adult.
